Romain Folz touches down in Ghana to commerce work as New AshantiGold SC Head Coach

French tactician, Romain Folz landed in Ghana last night via France Air to take over the reigns as Head Coach of Ashantigold SC.

Romain Folz replaces Serbian coach Milovan Cirkovic who parted ways with the club due to ill health earlier in the season.

The French gaffer had a stint with Bechem United in Ghana and also managing the likes of French Ligue 2 side Chamois Niortais FC, Pyramids FC in Egypt and the Uganda national team.

He penned a two-year contract with the Miners after a successful agreement.

AshantiGold are 10th on the league log with 22 points from 17 matches after the first round.
