Nuru Sulley leaves Accra Hearts of oak

Accra Hearts of Oak have mutually terminated the contract of their defender Nuru Sulley. The workaholic defender has not had a regular playing time this season.

The management of Accra Hearts of Oak disclosed the news via the clubs official twitter handle. “Hearts of oak mutually part ways with Nuru Sulley. The club will like to thank him for his service during his stint with us.”

Sulley, 28, joined the Phobians for a second stint, having spent three-years with the Accra-based Ghana Premier League giants between 2011-2014. He made 39 appearances in his initial stinct and scored two goals for Hearts. He left Accra Hearts of Oak and had stints in Iraq, Egypt Libya and Turkey after leaving Hearts. He returns on a free transfer after a short stint with Naft Al-Junoob SC in Iraq in April 2020 and signed 2 year contract with the Accra giant.
