Amos Frimpong vows to help his new club CI Kamsar Eliminate Accra Hearts of Oak

Amos Frimpong has promised that he will help his new club, CI Kamsar to eliminate Hearts of Oak from next season’s CAF Champions League competition.

The Guinean outfit on Friday was drawn against the Ghana Premier League champions to face off in the preliminary stage of the elite CAF inter-club competition.

Speaking to Oyerepa FM on the draw, Amos Frimpong who will be part of the CI Kamsar squad next season says the aim of the team is to knock out the Phobians.

“Our Club President has told us to do better than what Horoya FC is doing on the continent. Winning the CAF CL is our aim and I don’t see Hearts of Oak stopping us even though I admit they are on form,” the experienced defender said.

Amos Frimpong continued, “CI Kamsar playing Hearts in the Champions League is a dream match for me. I had always wanted to play against them (Hearts) again. My Colleagues have been asking about Hearts but am sure we will qualify ahead of them.”

Amos Frimpong played for Techiman Eleven Wonders in the 2020/2021 football season.

At the end of the campaign, the former Asante Kotoko captain has completed a move to CI Kamsar and is expected to be a key player for the Guinean side next season
