I don’t know where Asante Kotoko secretariat is located — Mariano Barreto- Nhyira Fmm

The Asante Kotoko head coach has made a shocking revelation that he doesn’t know where the club’s secretariat is located.

Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto says he has not visited the secretariat of Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko since his arrival in Ghana.

 Barreto, 64, was appointed as the head coach of Asante Kotoko by Nana Yaw Amponsah’s led management in March. “I don’t know where the Asante Kotoko secretariat is located. I haven’t been there before since my appointment,” Barreto told Nhyira FM “I have been in Ghana for the past four months to handle Asante Kotoko but I don’t know where it is located. I signed my contract in Accra at a hotel,” ”Is it located at the stadium [Baba Yara Sports Stadium]?” He quizzed. Barreto returned to Ghana football almost 15 years after abandoning the national team midway into the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for Portuguese topflight outfit Maritimo. He guided Asante Kotoko to finish second place on the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League log with 57 points.
