KWADWO ASAMOAH HAPPY TO MAKE CAGLIARI DUBUT WITH WIN

Italy-based Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed delight in making his Cagliari debut in the victory over Crotone.

The 31-year-old was handed his debut after Cagliari were reduced to a man following the red card to Charalampos Lykogiannis in the 75th minute.

Asamoah replaced Joao Pedro in the 77th minute as Cagliari won 2-0 at the Stadio Ezio Scida.

Leonardo Pavoletti opened the scoring after 56 minutes before Joao Pedro added the second from the spot four minutes later to earn Cagliari victory.

Asamoah joined Cagliari as a free agent in the winter transfer window.
