Ghana’s U-20 team, the Black Satellites will face The Gambia in the semifinals of the CAF U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
The two sides are meeting each other again at the competition after quarter final victories over Cameroon and the Central Africa Republic.
Ghana lost to The Gambia in the final group C game but managed to progress as one of the best third place teams in the competition.
The Black Satellites reached the semifinals after beating Cameroon on penalties on Thursday. The game which traveled the length ended 1-1 after 120 minutes but it was the three times champions that went through after a perfect penalty shootout.
Meanwhile, the Gambians made light work of the Central Africa Republic, beating them 3-0 on Friday night. Wally Fofona, Momodou Bojang and Barry.
The semifinal between Ghana and Gambia will be played on Monday at the Stade Olympique.
