“Ungratefulness triggered me to dissolve Ankara SC” – Stephen Baidoo

Former Black Stars defender Stephen Baidoo for the first time has stated the reason why he dissolved his football club Ankara SC. In an interview with Kuntu Blankson of Westgold Radio in Sekondi-Takoradi, the former defender gave his reasons for the dissolution.

“I was treating these boys with all love and care, the team had a bus to pick players to and from training grounds every day every player had a bicycle, Health Insurance, Tracksuits, T-shirts, and everything a footballer needed to flourish in the end some the players sabotaged me and showed ungratefulness it’s the reason I dissolved Ankara SC.

“Several Sekondi-Takoradi players played for the club. I have been bitter all this while, the boys stabbed me in the back, I feel hurt when I remember all that happened. I invested in these boys, in the end, they vilified me,” He said.

Stephen Baidoo also stated he has no plans of setting up another football club as been speculated in the media.
