COVID-19 FIFA RELIEF FUND: GFA President Kurt E.S Okraku applauds staff for timely guaranteed release of second tranche

President of the Ghana Football Association has praised his working staff for ensuring a timely arrival of the second tranche of the COVID-19 relief fund by FIFA.

Kurt Okraku expressed appreciationto the General Secretary, management and staff for a marvellous work for sending the 1st report of the tranche to FIFA on time as the FIFA reporting template was sent back to the GFA.

” Immediately FIFA sent the template and held an online meeting, the GFA staff jumped into action knowing how important the relief fund is important to our members.

“I work with the staff, so I know the hard work they put in and how late they close to ensure that all the members ( Premier League clubs, National Division One clubs, Women’s League clubs, Regional Women’s Division One League and its beneficiaries will all benefit from the relief fund.

” We haven’t thanked our staff so much regarding the work they do. Someone may question they work?. Report writing and data collection is not easy if you’re not fully prepared. We have done well by putting in effective administrative structures hence the speed in execution.

“The GFA will position itself very well administratively and in terms of compliance with FIFA and all laws to ensure that the football family obtain all benefits from us and promptly for the development of our-cherished national sport”. President Kurt Okraku said as he lauded the work of his staff.

The GFA Secretariat in the coming days will work with beneficiaries to ensure distribution of the funds in compliance with the relevant requirements and regulations of FIFA on the usage of fund.
