2021 Division One Zone II; Sekondi Hasaacas FC secure their first home win of the season as they beat Nzema Kotoko 1-0 at the Gyandu Park

Sekondi Hasaacas Fc secured their first home win of the season after edging 1-0 pass Nzema Kotoko yesterday in matchday of the ongoing Division One Zone Two League.

Hasmal maintained their unbeaten run after the matchday 4 courtesy of a wonderful late second half strike from midfielder Philip Flamini to win all maximum three points for the Sekondi-based club.

Sekondi Hasaacas dominated and controlled possession in the early stages of the crucial encounter but failed to find the back of the net after numerous attacks at goal.

Nzema Kotoko defender Richard Arthur was sent off on the 74th minute after he was shown a straight red for a reckless tackle.

The home side took an advantage of the player shortage of Nzema Kotoko and pressed to find the opener which indeed was gotten on the 81st minute after midfielder Philip Flamini lashed home a wonderful strike to win the game for Hasmal.

Nathaniel Eshun was also shown the exit door by the Referee in the closing minutes of the game after bad tackle right in front of the referee to receive the second red card of the intensed clash.

Philip Flamini was named Man of the Match after a brilliant display by the midfielder. A brilliant counter attack by Sampson Eduku saw him send a nice pass to Abeiku Ainooson who passed to Philip Flamini and the number 10 shirt man scored a beauty of a strike to win the game for Hasmal.

Phillip Flamini has picked up his second Man of the Match win after the opening 4 round of matches.

Coach Mustapha Capito and his boys move to second on the league standings with 8 points after matchday 4.
