Medeama SC have announced the departure of midfielder Jasper Nimo Nartey on a mutual agreement between both parties.
The midfield powerhouse joined the Mauve and Yellow side on a three year- deal from tier division side Cheetah FC.
The midfielder has struggled for game time under Samuel Boadu this campaign and made it known to the club management his intentions of plying his trade somewhere.
Management of Medeama and the camp of Nimo Nartey arrived at a consensus of which the player will depart the club on a mutually term basis which be favourable by both parties. The club released a statement on their website earlier indicating the contract termination of Jasper Nimo Nartey;
“We officially annouce the departure of midfielder Jasper Nimo Nartey on a mutual agreement. “He is a professional who have contributed his quota for the club since 2017.
“We are grateful for services and wish him well in his future endeavour”.
Nartey featured twice for Medeama SC in the 2020 truncated COVID-19 season but is yet to make an appearance in the 2020/2021 ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
