The Confederation of African Football announced the Preliminary fixtures of the 2020/21 Champions League. The opening round is scheduled to take place on the weekend of the 29th of November, with the return leg taking place on the 6-7 December.

This is the 25th edition of Africa’s biggest cup competition and Mamelodi Sundowns has qualified for this prestigious tournament, seven consecutive times.

Masandawana will not be in action in the first round of the Preliminary fixtures and will only be in action on 20-23 December when they take on winners between US Zilimadjou from Comoros and Jwaneng FC from Botswana. The Brazilians are not the only team that will be representing Mzansi in this year’s edition. Kaizer Chiefs will also be in action as they take on PWD Bamenda.

The Brazilians will be going out to make sure that they fight and qualify in the group stages and progress to the final with the hopes of bringing back a second star.
