President of Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick says that the Super Eagles will not beg Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka to play for them.

Saka who is of Nigerian descent has been in sensational form this season and that form has raised talk of luring the Gunners youngster to represent Nigeria at senior level.

However, Pinnick is of the view that the current Nigerian team has enough depth and there are players with similar qualities as Saka and as such there will be no need to beg the left-footed attacker to play for the West African giants.

In an Instagram live chat on Thursday Amaju said; “There are many players that play like Bukayo Saka in Nigeria.

“We don’t want to go begging any player.”

Saka has represented England at U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-19 levels and is eligible to play for Nigeria’s senior national team.
