His Excellency the President of Zambia Edgar Chagwa Lungu has given the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) the go ahead to resume the rest of the football campaign under strict prevention directives.

Football in Zambia was brought to a halt after the country recorded its first two cases of the COVID-19 disease.

Last month the governing body of football in Zambia submitted a proposal to the Government concerning the resumption of the League which seems to have been approved after careful cosideration.

The league is set to restart in July from week 26 with Forest Rangers, Napsa stars, Green Eagles and Nkana occupying the top four positions respectively
