Week 31 of the German Bundesliga produced exciting results as bottom clubs continue to fight for spots for next season.

It was a nervy match day for Dortmund following their trip to the ESPRIT arena when they faced relegation threatening side Fortuna Dusseldorf.

It took the brilliance of substitute Erling Haland who headed home the only goal the game produced in the 90 plus 5.

Dortmund’s win meant that league leaders Bayern Munich will have to wait for a game more to be able to be crowned as this season’s Bundesliga champions at least with a win when they face Weder Bremen in Midweek.

RB Leipzig kept their hopes of playing Champions League football next season alive when a brace from Dani Olmo ensured victory over Hoffenheim at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena on Friday night.
