There is a clear division in Kotoko – Former Communications Director.
Former Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Moses Antwi Benefo also known as PJ Mozee believes there are factions in the club.
The host of Nhyira Sports said the factions in the Porcupines are not only at the Board level but cuts across.
Speaking on Asempa FM, he said after the hiring and firing of trainers the problems of the club are not only about coaches.
“… people were of the view that the problems in Kotoko is not only about coaching
“If you change a coach today, you haven’t solved the problem, from where I am coming from it looks like there is something like a clear division in the Kotoko set up right from the board.”
PJ Mozee said the divisions start at the Board level but there is a united front at the management led by CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah. He is of the view that because Nana Yaw Amponsah brought the other management members on board who believe in his ideology and vision there is unity there.
“Maybe it’s only management that is stable, with regards to the Board, there is a division, there is also a division at the supporter’s side while the playing body is worst off.
He added that one would be shocked should he/she have the opportunity to talk to the players.
Moses Antwi Benefo resigned from his role as the Communications Director of Kotoko last December.
Benefo’s resignation came hours after the club sacked head coach Maxwell Konadu.
Benefo said his resignation was for “personal and professional” reasons and stated that it was a pleasure working for the club.
The Nhyira FM Sports Presenter only lasted 3 months in the job following his appointment in September this year.
