Asamoah Gyan optimistic his side Legon Cities will avoid relegation
Legon Cities FC striker, Asamoah Gyan says he is confident his can avoid relegation when the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season comes to an end.
The Royals have endured a difficult league campaign so far currently sitting 15th on the standings after matchday 21.
The Black Stars veteran striker reveals high hopes in camp and his teammates determination to overcome the relegation scare when the season ends.
In an interview with Metro TV Asamoah Gyan revealed that they can achieve such aim by winning consecutive matches.
“What I will say is we need to win consecutive matches. In life, you need to be consistent and that is the problem we have faced. Sometimes we play some good football but in the end, we lose. Although we didn’t start well in the season but so far we have lifted our performance when compared to the first round,” He said
“We need consistency and I’m sure we will talk to ourselves and make sure we win matches continuously so that we stay in the Ghana Premier League.” He concluded
