Hearts Of Oak Head Coach Samuel Boadu provides an update on Richmond Ayi,Richard Attah amid injury concerns
Accra Hearts Of Oak gaffer Samuel Baodu has provided an update on the current situation of goalkeeping pair Richmond Ayi and Richard Attah who have been absent from the team for some weeks now due to injury.
Both experienced goalkeepers suffered ankle injuries respectively in training prior to the start of the second round.
Third choice goalkeeper Benjamin Mensah was called upon over the weekend when the Phobians silenced the Ogya Boys 2-0 in matchday 18 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Samuel Boadu after the game revealed to the media that both goalkeepers got injured in training and also confirmed their well responding to treatment.
“Richard Attah and Ayi have been out of the squad for some weeks due to injuries but I can assure you that they will be available for the weekend game”. Samuel Boadu told the press.
Hearts currently sit 3rd on the league log with 30 points after matchday 18 of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians will enroute to Obuasi to face AshantiGold SC in an intensed game-week 19 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season this weekend.
