U20 AFCON – TANZANIA COACH HEAPS PRAISES ON BLAK SATELLITES FOR MASSIVE WIN.
Tanzania’s U-20, Jamhuri Mussa Kihwelo has heaped praise on Black Satellites following their impressive display in their Group C opener in the on-going African U-20 Cup of Nations on Tuesday.
A brace from Percious Boah and goals from Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Joselpho Barnes saw the Black Satellites seal a comfortable victory at the Stade de Nouadhibou.
Speaking at the Post match press conference, Coach Kihwelo congratulated Ghana for winning the game.
“I congratulate Ghana for winning this game, but I am happy with the performance of my players,” he said.
“We’re here for the first time but will learn lessons from every game.”
Tanzania had slowly grown into the game and pulled the strings well in their passing, but failed to pose any danger on the most important end of the pitch; the final third.
Ghana will face Morocco next on Friday, February 19.
The Moroccans won their opening goal by a lone goal against Gambia.
