Mbappé ‘HAT-TRICK’ propel PSG to an emphatic 4-1 win over Barcelona in UCL last 16 first leg tie
Kylian Mbappé scored a stunning hat-trick as PSG blew Barcelona away at Camp Nou to all but book their place in the Champions League quarter-final.
Barcelona actually took the lead through a Lionel Messi penalty after 27 minutes but things quickly soured for Ronald Koeman’s men thanks to a sensational showing from the 22-year-old.
He firstly swanned his way past Clément Lenglet in the area and smashed an equaliser high into the roof of the net following fine footwork to equalise.
Mbappé doubled PSG’s lead after the break after Alessandro Florenzi beat the offside trap to tee him up before Moise Kean headed in from a free-kick to leave Barcelona with a huge mountain to climb.
And it will take a comeback of even greater proportions than their previous remontada heroics after Mbappé curled a glorious fourth in to claim the match ball with five minutes remaining.
