The young Copper Bullets opened the scores in the 17th minute through Joseph ‘Sabobo’ Banda while David Čamber leveled matters 12 minutes into the second half before Banda could win it with a spectacular overhead kick five minutes later.

The young Bullets will return to action tomorrow with their second match of the Under-16 Invitational tournament as they square off with Romania at 10:30hours.

Zambia is currently second in group B with three points while Romania leads the log with 4 points.

The Tournament Committee has also decided that the postponed match between North Macedonia and Zambia, which was rescheduled for 26 September, will not be played.

The final standings in Group B will be decided on average points per game and all matches of Match Day 3 will be played 2 x 40 min.
