Zambia Women’s national team duo of Hellen Mubanga and Rachel Nachula yesterday had their first training session with new teammates at their new club Zaragoza CFF.

The duo who were instrumental in the Copper Queens qualification to the Olympics arrived in Spain on Saturday to start life at their new club. Mubanga and Nachula were part of the Zaragoza team that trained at by training on Monday evening with the team that trained at the Mudejar Municipal Sports Center on Monday afternoon.

Today the duo is expected to return to the training pitch with the Spanish Reto Iberdrola side who move to Villanueva.

The Zambian goal machines will get their first test of European club football on Sunday in a friendly match as Zaragoza face top tier side Atletico Madrid in their first warm-up game.

Zaragoza is eyeing a promotion ticket to the Spanish top-flight. The new Reto Iberdrola (Spanish first tier of Women’s football) season opens on October 18.
