Meadeama goalkeeper, Eric Ofori Antwi is on the radar of Ashantigold Sporting Club as they prepare for their African campaign.

The Obuasi based club is willing to augment his sqaud ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign with the goalkeeping department a priority.

Eric Ofori Antwi, affectionately called Alawa by football fans has a one year contract left with Medeama.

In view of that Ashantigold SC is reportedly willing to sign him ahead of their African campaign.

The 25-year old has been superb for the yellow and mauves this season before the 2019/2020 season of the Ghana Premier League was cancelled.

Ashantigold has given long term contracts to midfielder Appiah MacCArthy and defender Richard Osei Agyemang.

They have also signed Yaw Annor and are currently negotiating with Aduana Stars for their talisman Yahaya Mohammed.

The former Amidaus goalkeeper addition to the Obuasi-based outfit would create a healthy competition between him and current shot stopper, Frank Boateng.
