FIFA has confirmed that the 2022 World Cup which is set to be hosted in Qatar will begin on the 21st of December to the 18th of November.

Due to the weather conditions in Qatar, the tournament will be played in the winter which is the first time the competition will be played at that time of the year.

Four matches will be played every day during the group stages which will guarantee sufficient rest for all participants.Institutions who wish to reserve their places for the competition will be able to purchase the hospitality tickets from the ending of 2020.While individuals who wish to buy the World Cup tickets must wait for further announcements.

In addition, group stage matches will be played at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. GMT (with simultaneous kickoffs on the final day). While the knockout matches will be held at 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.

5 slots awaits African participant which will be revealed at the end of the qualifying fixtures.
