Premier Soccer League (PSL) players whose loan deals ended yesterday will not return to their parent club just yet.

This is as a result of the coronavirus outbreak which caused a three-month break in the season which delayed the end of the 2018/2019 campaign.

Several clubs have already renegotiated a deal to extend the contract of players whose loan deals have expired while others are still in negotiation.

Chilli Boys CEO insists that they are still negotiating with the players to extend their contract and a decision is expected to be made by the close of the week.

“we thought by today [yesterday] we would know when we are resuming play. But we didn’t get a clear indication. But we will get that indication this week. We need all the players until the end of the season. Whether they are in or out of contract, we are busy with them and their representatives.

“It will also depend on case to case but that’s our intention, to have them. We have made everybody aware that we would like to finish the season with our players.”
