Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has won the Marc Vivien Foe prize, an award which is awarded to the best African player in the French Ligue 1.

The 21-year old was quite exceptional for Lille this season, his wonderful displays earned him the club’s best player award after the season was brought to a premature end.

At the age of 21, he has now become the youngest ever player to win the award Marc Vivien Foe prize since its inception.

Osimhen made 27 appearances for his club scoring 13 times with 4 assists after arriving from Belgian side Chaleroi in the previous summer transfer window.
