Italian duo Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini have put pen to paper to sign a one year contract extension which will see them stay at Juventus until June 2021.

Even though a renewal was always on the cards for the two Bianconerri Legends, failure to extend their deals would’ve seen their contract end on June 30 2020.

Both have served the club exceptionally well throughout their footballing careers and have become a symbol of inspiration and a good example to follow if one wants to at least get close to their achievements as footballers.

Buffon joined the ‘Old Ladies’ in 2001 and has only been away from the club once when he spent a year in the books of Paris Saint Germain in the 2018/2019 season.

He has enjoyed 669 competitive appearances for the club having won a number of domestic titles in the process.

Chiellini on the other hand has made 509 appearances for the club scoring 36 goals since he joined the club’s senior side.
