Cameroonian Goalkeeper Andre Onana who plays his club football for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie has been linked with a summer departure as he looks set to take on a new adventure elsewhere.

Chelsea sees the situation as a good opportunity to replace Spanish Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga who has flattered to deceive this season.

However, According to Daily Mail the London club will have to beat competition from French side Paris Saint-Germain who have also joined the race for the former Barcelona academy player.

Onana expressed his desire to depart the Amsterdam Arena in April.

He said: “Don’t get me wrong, I am very happy with Ajax and I am very grateful to the club.

“It was five great years here, but now my time has come to take a step.

“I don’t yet know what will happen, but my ambitions and agreements are clear.”

Since his debut in 2016, Onana has made 178 appearances for the Dutch side.
