Everton forward Theo Walcott will miss the rest of this season after undergoing abdominal surgery on Monday.

The former Arsenal winger was ruled out got four weeks and will continue to work with the medics at Goodison Park.

The 31-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions this season for the Toffees before the halt of the league due to COVID 19.

Already, Jean-Phillipe Gbamim and defender Yerry Mina have both been ruled out with injuries since the Premier League club’s return to prepare for the Merseyside Derby.
