The Premier League restarts project on June 17 will allow five substitutions after it was agreed on a recent meeting involving all 20 Premier League clubs.

There have been fears and concerns raised by medical experts and managers of players sustaining particular injuries due to long absence as a result of the COVID 19.

Shareholders also approved for clubs to increase the maximum number of substitute players on the bench from seven to nine for the rest of the 2019/20 season.

The season as confirmed will restart on June 17 with Manchester City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United to get the restart underway.
