Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender Cristopher Nettey has hailed the 2019/2020  Premier League season as one of the most competitive in recent years.

This season’s Premiership had all the attributes of being the best in recent times only to be disrupted by the novel coronavirus disease.

Indeed competition has been fierce in the Ghana Premier League with very small margins separating the various teams in their respective positions.

Leaders Aduana Stars are leading with a three-point advantage over second-place AshGold.  Medeama SC who are on the 6th position has just four points more than 10th placed Accra Great Olympics.

Speaking to Kotoko Express App he said,“This season was proving to be the most competitive in recent years until it was suspended,” observes the Christopher Nettey. “Unlike the past years where a club could have been leading the league by a wider margin at this stage of the competition, the build-up of this year’s is very close. The competition is very intense at the top, middle and even at the bottom and just one win or slip could change a lot.”
