It was a big night for the Masandawana family as the winners for the PSL Awards 2019/20 season were announced. Five players of Mamelodi Sundowns were adjudged winners in their nominated categories out of 7 players nominated in different categories.
The nominations were:
1. Denis Onyango: Goalkeeper of the Season
2. Motjeka Madisha: Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament and Defender of the Season
3. Themba Zwane: Midfielder of the Season, Footballer of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season
4. Hlompho Kekana: Midfielder of the Season, Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament and Goal of the Season
5. Gaston Sirino: Footballer of the Season and Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament
6. Keletso Makgalwa: Nedbank Most Promising Player
7. Peter Shalulile: Footballer of the Season
Themba Zwane, Hlompho Kekana, Gaston Sirino, Keletso Makgalwa and Pitso Mosimane climaxed the night for Sundowns as 2019/20 PSL Awards winners.
