“Amazing Kid Eche”, aka Eche Chinonso,  is a 12-year-old football freestyle prodigy from Delta State, Nigeria.

It became clear that Eche had a talent when he was just five years old, so his father began taking him to the field to practice regularly.

At the age of eight, Eche began putting in more time to develop and perfect his freestyling skills after being inspired by videos of world famous footballers.

In order to reach a record breaking standard, Eche finds time to practice every single morning before school, when he often completes over 2000 touches!

When the school day comes to an end, Eche heads to the field to play football with his classmates.

Eche set his sights on attempting the Guinness World Records title for the most consecutive football (soccer) touches in one minute while balancing a football on the head to prove to other young Nigerians that anything is possible through self-belief and dedication.

“It has inspired me to do more and never give up” – Eche Chinonso

He achieved the title on the 14th November 2019, with an impressive 111 touches; receiving recognition from FIFA and earning himself a spot in the Guinness World Records book.

Eche’s favourite trick to perform still involves juggling a ball while balancing another one on his head, in the knowledge that he still remains the very best in the world at doing so.

However, he has his sights set on quite a few more Guinness World Records titles in future so watch this space!

Earning his place on the pages of Guinness World Records 2021 has made Eche the “happiest person in the world” and he hopes it will make his family and other Nigerians proud.

Eche’s latest Guinness World Records title will feature alongside thousands of others in Guinness World Records 2021 which is out now.
