Ghanaian youngster Richmond Quansah has rated the Ghana premier league as on of the best on the African continent but believes a lot needs to be done to make it better.
Speaking on Nzema FM Sports high way, the former Aalco FC left back eulogized the Ghana premier league as one of the best on the continent but managements needs to step up to prevent player exodus and make the league better.
“The reason why there is a massive player exodus in Ghana is because of how bad the salaries are.
I went to Qatar as a young player and i saw most of the senior players from the local scenes joining clubs in Qatar.”
“The salary is too low for the players. They have families to cater for and when they realise that the peanut cannot help, they accept any offer that comes their way whether good or bad.
Our league is one of the best on the continent but we need to do more to make it best”, he fold Nzema FM.
The talented left back however revealed that his management is in talk with few Ghanaian clubs for a possible deal as he gears up to have a taste of the Ghana premier league.
“I’m ever ready to have a taste of the Ghana premier league.
My management is in talks with Legon Cities and few other premier league teams and we are hoping to land a good deal as we awaits football resumption.”
