Wedson Nyirenda has been confirmed as the new coach of Zambian Super League side Lusaka Dynamos on a short term basis.

According to Shalala Oliver Sepiso who is the Technical Manager of the club, the former Chipolopolo boss will assume the position of head coach with the help of Ian Bakala and Josphat Nkhoma as first and second assistant respectively.

“Lusaka Dynamos is pleased to announce that Wedson Nyirenda has been appointed head coach of Lusaka Dynamos while Ian Bakala, Josphat Nkhoma, and Stephen Mwansa will be his assistants. Stephen Mwansa will also double as goalkeeping coach while Manchi Janza is the physical trainer.”

Nyirenda’s contract will see him at the club for the remainder of the 2019/2020 football season with an option to extend beyond its current expiry.
