Cypriot club Doxa Katokopias has announced the signing of former Nigerian international Taye Taiwo for an undisclosed fee.
Even though the statement on the club’s website did not reveal the period of the contract, reports circulating in the media suggests that the experienced left-back will be staying for a year at the club.
Teye Taiwo has gained vast experience as a footballer having played for clubs like AC Milan, Marseille, Queens Park Rangers, Bursaspor, Dynmo Kiev, HJK Helsinki among others.
He has now joined his teammates to ready himself for the challenge that lies ahead and will be donning the number 33 jersey.
