La Liga SmartBank side UD Almeria have sacked former Real Madrid midfielder Guti Hernandez from his position as Head coach of the club.
Almeria made the decision to relieve the 43-year old off his duties after the club suffered a 1-0 defeat against Alcorcon in their bid to return to top-flight football.
The Andalusian club currently sit in the third position on the league log, 5 points behind second placed Real Zaragoza.
Guti during his time at the club managed 9 wins, 5 draws, and 8 losses in the 22 appearances he made.
Almeria have only been able to pick up half of a possible 12 points since the restart of the La Liga SmartBank.
The club will seek to employ a more capable alternative who can carry the team into the Spanish top flight.
