Brazilian club Botafogo has set sights on Cote d’voire centre-forward Solomon Kalou as a potential addition to their attacking options.
Reports indicate that the club from Rio de Janeiro are quite desperate to get the experienced winger on their books and have already tabled a pre-contract agreement for the player.
The Ivorian currently plays his club football for German club Hertha Berlin with his contract set to expire in July 2020.
Kalou’s relationship with the club has taken a turn for the worse after failing to adhere to the safety protocols of the COVID-19 disease.
The experienced winger is mostly remembered for his achievements at Chelsea where he won the UEFA Champions League with the London club in 2012.
