Zambian female football sensation Barbara Banda has continued her good start to life in China as she scored her fifth goal of the season in Shanghai Shengli’s 4-0 win over Henan Jianye in a China Taiping CFA Women’s Super League encounter.
The Copper Queens captain outpaced defenders to score the second goal of the game after coming close a few times in the first half. Banda was later withdrawn in the 78th minute.
Zhang Xin opened the scores with a beautiful strike from close range. Midfielder Yang Lina made it three with a beautiful long-range effort to open her goal account for the season.
Huang Yini completed the 4-0 bashing of Jianye with a close-range finish after being set up by Zhao Yingying.
Shengli has now won all their four games so far same as Wuhan Jiangda while defending Champions, Jiangsu Suning returned to winning ways with Malawian striker Tabitha Chawinga netting a brace.
Barbara is the overall leading goalscorer with her five goals. Last season’s top goalscorer, Chawinga is closely second with 4 goals.
