According to highly respectable German media outlet Bild, newly crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign left-footed winger Leroy Sane.
It is believed that Sane will join the German champions on a 5-year deal worth 50 million euros.
The 24-year old had been linked with the Bavarians a number of times prior to this agreement between the two clubs and will depart the Etihad at the end of the 2019/2020 Premier League season.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola earlier confirmed that Sane had rejected an offer to extend his stay at the club.
“Leroy has rejected to extend his contract. Everyone knows. If at the end of the season two clubs agree he can leave, if not he will leave at the end of his contract,” Guardiola said.
“The club offered two or three times and he rejected it.”
