Barcelona have enjoyed a rather positive return to action since the Spanish La Liga resumed from a three-month football hiatus.

The Catalan giants have earned a maximum of six points from the two games they’ve played registering six goals without conceding any.

The two games has seen a lot of rotation by the Barcelona boss Quique Setien who intends to keep his squad fit for the hectic schedule that has been devised to ensure that the league is completed by the end of July.

Rakitic who has played a part in both matches, one as a substitute and the other as a starter has stated that he is confident the Blaugrana will be ready in time for the tricky clash against Sevilla.

“There’s very little time and we don’t have many days off, but we have to take advantage of it in the best way possible,” Rakitic explained on Tuesday to Movistar, looking ahead to Friday.

“We’ll be ready and motivated.”

The former Sevilla man is aware that the new schedule will be difficult for every team.

“It’s difficult for every team to be at 100 percent,” he added.

“We’ve been at home for months, but our squad all feel strong.”
