Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey has joined a host of celebrities who have exhibited their concerns regarding the George Floyd murder case in the US.
George Floyd who is an African-American died on the street of Minneapolis, Minnesota after a police officer pressed his knee on his neck for 8 minutes and 45 seconds.
His death has sparked a lot of solidarity messages being offered in support of the victim with prominent names such as Jadon Sancho, Michael Jordan, Floyd Mayweather and many others all speaking about the incident.
Ghanaian international Thomas Partey has sent a solidarity message via twitter to express his regrets over the incident.
Meanwhile,FIFA has urged the leadership of the various leagues to use common sense when punishing footballers who offer their concerns in the wake of such brutality.
